BOLIVAR THEATER
Bolivar Theater in Quito is one of the rare architecture pieces in relation with other theaters in the Ecuador’s capital.
The Theater has a beautiful architecture and is a survivor of fire that almost destroyed it. Many concerts, recitals, operas, ballet, plays, etc.., had had as a backdrop the Teatro Bolivar. This one was into a boom until the gradual introduction of television.
Bolivar Theatre is located in Quito downtown, on Espejo Street, between Guayaquil and Flores streets.

HOUSE OF ECUADORIAN CULTURE
This one has been entrusted the task of preserving, promoting, encouraging, investigate and spread the art, science and cultural heritage of Ecuador.
Established in 1944 by the award-winner essayist Benjamín Carrión, the institution have been known for giving shelter of all forms of cultural expression without excluding popular expressions.
The parent company has two buildings. The first and oldest is the old house, in which operate the administrative offices of the institution, in addition to the show rooms Benjamin Carrión, Jorge Icaza where usually take place several displays of theater, films, workshops or seminars.
Next to this building is the first publishing house of the Casa de la Cultura, the Fondo Editorial Pedro Jorge Vera. In addition, the Prometeo Theatre and the Women's Area, the second have been a space for creation and discussion of gender demands.
The second building is the Building of Mirrors, circular building that was completed in 1981, which began to organize the different spaces that now owns. In this building are. the National Theatre Jaime Roldos Aguilera, Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco cinema, the Central Bank National Museum, the Museum of Visual Arts and Music (MAVIM), the Agora, the National Library Eugenio Espejo, La Radio de la Casa de la Cultura, Sala de Artes Escénicas Mariana de Jesús which houses the Frente de Danza Independiente, Cinemateca Nacional de Ecuador, and Demetrio Aguilera Malta Theater.

QUITO HOUSE OF MUSIC
The Church is located in the Luis Sodiro Street, between 6 de Diciembre and Luis Felipe Borja, next to the “La Alameda” park in the charming city of Quito.
Built in 2003 and currently managed by the Foundation Philharmonic House of Music Hans & Gi Neustaetter, this site has been praised for its architectural design both exterior and interior, acoustic design, thereby receiving the highest rating in intensity and clarity of sound for the famous Müller-BBM German house.
In addition to the Concert Hall with a capacity of 700 attendees, the House of Music has a recital hall with 80 seats available and a Conference Room available for cultural events.
In these spaces had been done different events, exhibitions, special concerts and recitals with renowned musicians and artists. Thus, the House of Music becomes one of the most prominent and important works of development and cultural expression in this city, considering that Quito is already well known for this fact.

MEXICO THEATER
Mexico Theatre in Quito was a theater opened in 1945, the most recognized in the south of city at that time.
Along with new technologies and a renewed internal structure, the Mexico Theater creates a modern and poly-functional space for arts and culture. It has a mobile stage in addition to seats in mobile bleacher, internal communication systems, cat walks, that can acquire different functions for lighting and curtains, everything depends on the claims the work or event involves. In addition complete architecture systems were installed in: lighting, staging, room, sound systems, acoustics and air conditioning.
Consequently, the Teatro Mexico in Quito is included in the new trends in contemporary alternative theater, making it the most modern cultural space of the country. It can work as a theater, stage box, cinema, coliseum and television studio.

SUCRE NATIONAL THEATER
Sucre National Theatre is the first theater in the city of Quito and one of the most renowned throughout Ecuador.
Built between 1879 and 1887. The theater is currently under the administration of the Teatro Nacional Sucre Foundation as well as the space of square, Plaza del Teatro, which continually organizes musical events predominantly outdoors open to the public. Also manages other theaters such as the Teatro Variedades Ernesto Alban, Mexico Theatre and Cultural Center Mama Cuchara.

VARIEDADES THEATER "ERNESTO ALBAN"
Teatro Variedades "Ernesto Albán is located in the eastern corner of the Plaza del Teatro in Quito It was built at the early last century.
In 1940, the Variedades Theatre became part of a large chain of entertainment in Quito. But, as the majority of theaters, by the end of the 1980s began to close its doors. It was more compelling television show and new entertainment technologies than going to the old theaters and movies. This is how, in 1994, the Variedades Theatre closed its doors.
It would take years, and in 2005 the Fondo de Salvamento del Municipio de Quito, the Municipality Rescue Fund of Quito, (FONSAL) acquired the building to invest in its restoration. About two million dollars and two years took the recover.
For its reopening, it was called Teatro Variedades Ernesto Alban, the latter being the name of one of the most famous comedians and actors of Quito. Outside the Theatre can be foud a statue of Ernesto Alban in his most famous character: Don Evaristo Corral y Chancleta. With this character he made Quito’ people laugh and made to laugh at all his time people. He did the famous Quito Estampas (interpretations of traditions and political caricatures). Thus, the Teatro Variedades Ernesto Alban is open offering programs focused on this lost theatrical genre.
In addition to Estampas Quiteñas, the theater offers a program consisting of political comedy, coffee- concerts, cabaret shows, operettas, puppets, plays well, chamber concerts, dance, film and varieties
